With GIRL Z: My Life as a Teenage Zombie slated for release this summer, I am naturally
one-sided these days. It's a lot to think about....
So it seems the perfect topic today - share what you did for your book release -
what worked - what didn't?
What's a good idea?
Part of my pre-release work has been spreading the word via a new blog with several
other authors - GirlZombieAuthors. This has been a lot of fun to explore different topics...
Stop by - today I'm talking about yes, zombie movies. Love 'em, hate 'em,
which should've stayed buried?
Share a fave or even a horror movie. See post.
* Please do share your book release hints and tips - anything bad or memorable happen?

I'll stop by and check it out!
I did a blog tour where every stop I took people via a different means of trasnport; wormholes, apparating Harry Potter style, Bill and Ted's telephone booth, the Magic Bus, etc,
Something fun and unique every time.
what a cool and original idea! Not sure people want to be part of a zombie attack, but you've given me an idea to think on. Thank you!
I scare so easily, just thinking about a zombie movie scares me!
haa! Well I admit closing my eyes on some parts!
Lately I've been doing mini blog book tours. I've done large scale ones, but I think interest starts to wane when people see a post up to follow every day and wonder when it will be over so they don't have to keep ignoring it all.

A good idea, maybe to break it up before people go, 'oh her again.' But then at the beginning it seems a longer one works up a buzz? Hard to say what's better?
My fourth book, A Case of Volatile Deeds, comes out next month and while I have several guest blogs lines up, I don't have them all in a row just because I feel like that is all I talk about then. With some time in between, maybe I can spread it out??? Who knows what works and what doesn't. My crystal ball broke years ago.

Darn and I was going to ask to borrow it... ha!
I like that idea... yeah thinking on it, every day on a blog tour maybe is too much? (so much me me me?)
I do a blog tour for each one of my new releases. I just wish there was a better way to track whether or not this increases, or even leads to any, sales. For print books I have bookmarks made up and post cards to ebooks. When ever someone asks for swag for a conference, I have plenty to send.
I'm working on a blog tour, with the help of Melissa at AuthorRX-have no idea how to go about it. I'm blog challenged.
