Halloween by June

I did the typical parent thing yesterday and took my youngest daughter trick or treating. She had a ball, except everyone was getting her costume wrong. Now I didn't really think it mattered, but she kept correcting them. To her advantage, most of the people felt bad they guessed wrong and gave her an extra piece of candy!

This is a picture of her in costume:

This is what everyone guessed was her costume:

And they didn't guess that she was going for this:

Yes, she was my little Southern Belle!
Well, she enjoyed Halloween, even if they didn't know who she was. All she cared about was that her costume was really pretty!
Have a great week,
Best,
June

I'm glad she corrected everyone - shows she's strong in her convictions! I went with my granddaughters and they had to do a bit of explaining as well. Kylie was dressed for an old fashion masquerade ball and Alex was dressed up as Mylie Cyrus. Her friend went as Hannah Montanna! What a hoot!

Thanks, Y'all! (sorry I had to do that) - I tried to get her to talk southern but she would have no part of it!

Love the Mylie Cyrus/Hannah Montanna duo. Unless they get the Disney channel sometimes folks are clueless!

Not many readers in your neighborhood, huh? Got her right off but she's more beautiful than the movie version.

She looked great!

Don't tell me you made that costume. If so, you are extremely talented.

Oh, I totally would have guessed Scarlett. She's one of my favorite heroines. (I dressed like her one year, too!)

Perfect for one of my favorite fans. Hi Em!!!!
