It does play a role in the story, as the icy conditions make it easier for the antagonist to force Rabbi Aviva Cohen's car off the road. I enjoyed writing the following description of her newspaper at the end of her still unshoveled driveway: "I ruefully stared out the front window at my double-bagged newspaper sitting on top of the snowplow-produced mound at the end of the driveway. All I could see was an edge of the plastic bag; the rest was becoming one with the snow. How Zen of it."Ilene Schneiderhttp://rabbiavivacohenmysteries.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8674828414021418178.post-58324571886865314672011-02-02T18:33:38.648-06:002011-02-02T18:33:38.648-06:00I love recommending Canadian author Nadine Doolitt...I love recommending Canadian author Nadine Doolittle's ICED UNDER--it is a real jewel, I think.

One of my novels currently being considered by publishers is set in winter in the Adirondacks--snow abounds!
