Thanks for sharing your story.

Can't wait to dive into The Lighthouse Keeper!

Take care, TraceyTracey Devlynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06893860773314837424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8674828414021418178.post-85999047396772213812008-03-28T08:11:00.000-05:002008-03-28T08:11:00.000-05:00Very interesting post, Luisa. So fortunate that you were able to overcome much of the repetition. I wonder if it's because your family, friends, and classmates, for the most part, didn't make a big deal about it.

Anyway, it led to a wonderful series of stories! All the best with your booksigning on April 5. And, also good luck to Morgan, Julie, Michael, Silvia and Bob!Mary Cunninghamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04377529303481858837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8674828414021418178.post-64873827072500322742008-03-28T07:43:00.000-05:002008-03-28T07:43:00.000-05:00Hi Luisa,You are not alone. Before I leave the house or go to bed, I'm constantly checking the locks on the doors and checking the knobs on the stove.

When I leave for work in the morning, I always say the same thing to my husband.

My dog is just as bad. Every time Rascal goes outside, she runs toward the window well and peers down, like there's a ghost inside, then she runs away. She also obsessively nibbles at and licks her comforter.
Morgan MandelMorgan Mandelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10118929301591850918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8674828414021418178.post-80098221277305697162008-03-28T07:20:00.000-05:002008-03-28T07:20:00.000-05:00Hey, Luisa :o) And happy Friday! My own particular oddity is the need to be early for everything, from airplanes to plays to conferences. Even the dentist (and I hate going). I tell myself that it's better than being late :o) but these days I try to split the difference and actually show up on time.
I like the candle ritual. I try to find music that fits the character I'm writing (big band and the blues right now), but it has to be really soft or it invades my brain and I start singing along!
I am anxious to see what Grace gets into next :o)Maryannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14827727249667150737noreply@blogger.com
