Sorry. As to my saying no limits, I meant no one was limited to playing as in our friends on DL across the pond. Sorry for the confusion, Helen. I hope you all had fun playing and as you know, I will likely conduct another contest in the future!

robAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8674828414021418178.post-4515179809902253662009-08-14T13:36:45.136-05:002009-08-14T13:36:45.136-05:00Aha...the bottled water mystery solved. I think while working on Deja Blue...I got Jessica drinking Deja Blue bottled water toward the end of the series to COMBAT her need for a Whiskey Sour...which was her favorited drink. I should have made it clear, alcholic drink, and she was for a time flirting with alcholism....seeing as she saw so much in the way of bad stuff and being so close to the Abyss for so long, finally finding love with Richard Sharp whom she met in London while on a case there in Blind Instinct...and so forth...
AND hey, thank you all who participated. Next time, I gotta get trickier. I didn't want it to be impossible but man, you guys are GOOD.

robRobnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8674828414021418178.post-43203104657140839112009-08-14T13:31:00.845-05:002009-08-14T13:31:00.845-05:00I do believe we have a winner in Bonnie on her fir...I do believe we have a winner in Bonnie on her first go round, as while she missed one, she included more than ten answers, all correct, save she forgot to give Alastair Ransom his title. However, with the additional above ten questions she answered on her first go-round, she was correct. But I have NO idea why bottled water got into the mix, but again at least ten of the thirteen were answered correctly and I hope I have made no enemies here! But Bonnie, you are the ONE! Yeah Rah!
I'll contact you for snail mail and send a copy of Dead On out to you ASAP.
Congratulations....and the rest of you, please read some of the charming and wonderful posts on Acme by my fellow Road Runners here.
